Leonard and wife Ingrid, both accomplished medical professionals, founded Cornerstone Hope Foundation, a care center for vulnerable children in Eastern Uganda out of a deep sense of compassion shaped by their own childhood hardships. Growing up in poverty, they faced challenges that fueled their commitment to change the future for children facing similar adversity. Their paths crossed in medical school, where a shared passion for service forged a powerful personal and professional bond. Though they built successful careers in medicine, their greater calling led them to create Cornerstone Hope Foundation, a safe haven offering shelter, education, healthcare, psychological support, and mentorship to orphaned and at-risk children. Leveraging their medical expertise, they provide holistic, integrated care tailored to every child’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs. With a mission to break the cycle of poverty and empower the next generation to thrive. What began as a dream rooted in struggle has become a legacy of hope.
