HIV/AIDS has placed a tremendous strain on the already limited resources and capacity of caretakers/givers looking after orphans and vulnerable children who are left behind after the death of their young parents leaving  severely income damaged families which are more observable and evident amongst the grand caretakers left with a burden to support the orphaned grand children.

Orphans and vulnerable children experience great challenges in accessing education due to lack of support for their tuition fees, and or scholastic materials like books and pens. As a result they are unable to take up their right to education ending up on streets, early child marriages & Pregnancies, juvenile crimes like prostitution and drug abuse.

At CSHF, we believe that the only most viable way to liberate the African child is by directly investing in their education to gain self-reliance and esteem then all outcomes of illiteracy like early marriage can be void..
